Nguyen-Khoa Thai-Anh lives in Oakland. He loves to
share his opinions about the Vietnamerican identity
and what sets it apart from other hyphenated
Americans. He begins the column with what unites the
sexes - and what keeps them apart. He writes often for
publications around the United States, including
newspapers in the Bay Area, and has taught the
Vietnamese language at the
University of California, Berkeley. He now teaches
economics and American democracy at the high-school
level, apart from raising a toddler with his wife.
Please spend some time with his monthly column where,
in upcoming issues, he continues to challenge readers
to look at who we really are.
