Daughters of missing Vietnam War pilot welcome ID of remains


 In December 1968, the blue sedan that drove slowly down the Ohio street, was all the family of Air Force Col Francis Jay McGouldrick Jr. knew to see that harm had come to their loved one. Two officers got out of the car to confirm the worst: McGouldrick’s B-57 bomber had been lost over Laos. For 45 years, the family waited for more answers, until September, when the remains of McGouldrick were confirmed found.
