Travel in Vietnam is a unique experience with a completely different vibe than that found in neighboring countries in Southeast Asia.

Last week I decided to return to Saigon to see what has changed since I was there in 2010. I also popped into Hanoi for a week to have a look around. The contrast between the two cities is phenomenal and both should be experienced.
While Saigon is larger, busier, and has a slightly more metro or Western feel, the capital of Hanoi is where Vietnam’s soul resides.
