Mi xao don yhit bo (Vietnamese crispy chow mein with beef)

From Wandering Chopsticks

Ah, you’ve all been waiting so patiently for the beefy chow mein recipe.

This version was made with beef, onions, bell peppers, bok choy, carrots, and oyster mushrooms.

This was an earlier version with just beef, bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms.

Use as much or as little beef and vegetables as you’d like. Unlike the vegetarian version though, I much prefer using oyster sauce. The choice is up to you. These crispy chow mein dishes are really Chinese in origin, but as I don’t know the Chinese words, and really, my momma made them when I was growing up so they’re Vietnamese dishes too! 😛
