The 55th annual Miss Garden Grove pageant and the 11th annual Miss Garden Grove Teen pageant. The winner of the Misss Garden Grove pageant will move on to compete in Miss California; the winner of that competition advances to Miss America. $20 general admission. Indie Fest USA Film Festival 2013
Oct. 24-26

Opening night features an outdoor party with live music, food samples and activities. Free screening of films from Hispanic filmmakers. On Friday, a classic car show with a drive-in movie theme. On Saturday, there is an Asian theme, with traditional food and activities with special screenings of films by Asian filmmakers and students. Tickets are $8 general admission. Oktoberfest
