The Vietnam Justice Index 2012 released Thursday in Hanoi by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Vietnam Lawyers’ Association showed that nearly half of respondents polled said land disputes were the most common type of disagreement and a disturbing issue in their localities.

The survey also found one fifth of all complaints on the handling of social entitlement policy and environmental pollution prevention by state agencies concerned lack of feedback from these agencies.
