Garden Grove sets grad schedule

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. ― Graduation programs are scheduled for June 14, 19 and 20 for more than 3,500 students of high schools and adult education schools in the Garden Grove Unified School District.


Commencement ceremonies for district intermediate schools are planned for June 20.


      


The high school graduation schedule is:


Thursday, June 14: Adult Education graduation, 6:30 p.m., at Chapman-Hettinga Education Center.


Tuesday, June 19: La Quinta High School, 6 p.m., at Bolsa Grande stadium


Wednesday, June 20: Bolsa Grande High School, 1:30 p.m., at the school stadium; Garden Grove High School, 1:30 p.m. at the school stadium; Hare Continuation High School, 6 p.m. on campus; Lincoln Continuation High School (School-Age Parent Program), noon on campus; Los Amigos High School, 5 p.m. at Garden Grove stadium; Pacifica High School, 4:30 p.m. at Bolsa Grande stadium; Rancho Alamitos High School, 8 p.m. at Bolsa Grande stadium; and Santiago High School, 8 p.m. at Garden Grove stadium.


 


Intermediate school commencements are all on Wednesday, June 20: Alamitos Intermediate School, 11 a.m., on campus; Bell Intermediate School, 9 a.m., on campus; Doig Intermediate School, 9 a.m., on campus; Fitz Intermediate School, 9 a.m., on campus; Irvine Intermediate School, 1:30 p.m. at La Quinta High School; Jordan Intermediate School, 10 a.m. on campus; Lake Intermediate School, 9:30 a.m. on campus; McGarvin Intermediate School, 10:45 a.m. on campus; Ralston Intermediate School, 10:30 a.m. on campus; and Walton Intermediate School, 9 a.m. on campus.


 


Important events also are scheduled for students at Jordan Secondary Learning Center and Mark Twain Special School. Nine students will take part in the commencement exercise at Jordan SLC on June 15 at 11 a.m., and Mark Twain will recognize four students at a commencement ceremony on June 12 at 10:15 a.m.


 


The Garden Grove Unified School District serves most of Garden Grove and portions of Santa Ana, Westminster, Fountain Valley, Cypress, Stanton, and Anaheim.
