‘Cloud Atlas’ filmmakers blasted by Asian American groups

            Representatives of the Media Action Network for Asian-Americans said the new film, “Cloud Atlas,” should have had an Asian American actor fill the role of the heroic protagonist doing battle in futuristic Korea. But every major male character in the film is played by a white man in “yellowface,” according to the MANAA founding president. Read the story by Randy McMullen from the Contra Costa Times.
