It’s the first week of classes at the University of Tennessee, and on the unofficial syllabus was a meet and greet to introduce American students to their counterparts of different cultures and their traditions. The “Beyond the Borders” event at the International House was just one of many programs sponsored by the I-House, as it is known – events that grad student Thuy Pham simply calls “amazing.”
