Revolution 3, Sporting KC 1: Lee Nguyen scored his 11th and 12th goals of the season to give host New England a victory over Sporting Kansas City last night.

New England (11-12-3) took its first lead 3 minutes after halftime. An unguarded Nguyen settled a cross at the top of the box and bent a shot past goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum. Nguyen scored again in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Kansas City (12-9-6), second in the Eastern Conference, lost its third straight game.
