Creator Huy Nguyen is hoping to raise $50,000 on Kickstarter to launch an app called Cheddar. It is a free online finance education academy for kids offering digital chores, allowance and spending in a kid-safe Amazon store.
With parental approval, kids will have access to a kid-safe version of the Amazon catalog. Nguyen hopes this will teach children the importance of finance and start them early on the road to financial success.

Cheddar currently has a functional web app that is available to users in the US. They will start the development of the iOS and Android apps after putting the final touches on the Chores Management system. Successful funding via Kickstarter will pay for the development of the iOS and Android versions of Cheddar.
