An online conference of the Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control was held in Hanoi on Wednesday during which participants discussed measures to tackle the virus.
Tran Dac Phu, head of Department of Preventive Medicine at the ministry, warned Vietnamese citizens and foreigners arriving from affected countries could spread the virus to Vietnam.

Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien has asked all agencies to boost inspections at hospitals and border gates, and warned Vietnamese against travelling to Ebola-affected countries.
