It’s a Japanese line that just launched in the U.S. this month, and it includes nine serums that each treat a different skin issue.

They’re meant to be mixed and matched, because women in Japan often wear two or three serums at the same time—and for good reason.

“Serums deliver active ingredients into the skin more efficiently than creams,” says Ranella Hirsch, a dermatologist in Boston, and they’re lightweight enough that you can layer a few of them with different active ingredients for maximum results.
