Two Vietnamese teens share valedictorian honors

Ngoc Thong and Myhanh Nguyen are about to make their parents very proud – both will be graduating from Stone Mountain High Schoolin Atlanta at the top of their class. With a grade point average of 4.2, the childhood friends are happy to share the honor and continue with their studies.

Both will attend the University of Georgia in Athens to pursue their bachelor degrees. Nguyen will major in computer engineering while Thong will focus on getting a pre-med degree.


Both are active in extracurricular activities including being members of the school’s Reserve Officer Training Corps, or ROTC, National Honor Society as well as sports.
