Japan food fest opens in Vietnam metro

An annual Japanese food festival that seeks to promote Japan’s rich and distinctive culinary culture opened at Tokyo Town Restaurant in Sai Gon Tuesday.

At the second Oishi Nippon Fair, offer many dishes and drinks will be offered free to Vietnamese guests.



Culinary expert Nguyen Thi Dieu Thao will instruct visitors in Japanese cooking with her own recipes that use Japanese ingredients and spices like miso and soya sauce. She said the foods would suit  the Vietnamese palate.



 Thao’s dishes are also find a place in Tokyo Town’s special menu.
