The Head of the V-League organizing committee for the last two seasons – Mr. Tran Duy Ly – has stepped down.
At the meeting of the management board of the Vietnam Professional Football JSC (VPF) – the runner of V-Leage and First Division Tournament – in Sai Gon yesterday, Mr. Tran Duy Ly expressed his wish to withdraw from the V-League organizing board. The board voted to approve Ly’s proposal.
VPF Chairman Vo Quoc Thang said VPF will find a suitable job for Ly to promote his experiences. The chief organizer of the First Division Tournament Nguyen Huu Bang also withdrew from the post.
Ly said he was quite happy and relieved to make the above decision. He said: “This is the transfer and continuation of generations to make football better.”
