Perhaps in preparation for her 2015 performance in outer space, Lady Gaga is getting ready for liftoff: Yesterday, she wore a flying dress.
The white vehicle-dress combo was revealed at her ARTPOP album release party at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in NYC, where guests like Tony Bennett watched the spectacle amidst Jeff Koons sculptures.
The battery-powered outfit—complete with six booms in a hex formation with two electric motors at the end of each boom—propelled her about 70 inches into the air. Under the machine, she wore a typical Gaga getup: a black leotard and a helmet.
