War Remnants Museum
An exhibition highlighting the national costume of Vietnam, Ao dai, is going on at the War Remnants Museum in Saigon.

Featuring more than 30 Ao dais, worn by women prisoners, politicians, soldiers and students who played significant roles in the devastating Vietnam War, the event is titled as ‘Vietnamese women’s ao dai through war’.
Aimed to promote and preserve the national attire, the display also includes some 90 photographs featuring ao dai designs, 16 documents such as poems on the gorgeous long traditional Vietnamese outfit and sewing machines.
