The South Pasadena Library Community Room will host a free performance of “Our American Voice” at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

The show highlights six diverse Asian-Pacific American stories. Traci Kato-Kiriyama and Johnny Kwon will reveal a slice of Asian-Pacific-American life. Although their individual experiences differ, they show how their lives were woven in the American tapestry.
The show has varied stories:
• Katherine Cheung, the first licensed Asian-American female aviator.
• Two Lao-American siblings, refugees from Vietnam, have a confrontation on their return trip to their homeland.
• An outspoken Filipino immigrant struggles to find acceptance and employment in the U.S. in 1946.
