The 550-metre Tran Kim Xuyen Street stretches 20 metres in width and is part of a new urban area in Cau Giay district, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reports.

At a ceremony to unveil a plaque for the street on Wednesday, deputy head of Hanoi Party Committee’s Department of Popularisation and Education, Phan Dang Long, said the street reflects Xuyen’s huge contributions to national construction and development.

“The honour is a milestone for both the VNA and Xuyen’s family,” said the news agency’s director general Nguyen Duc Loi at the event.
