PORTLAND, OR – Now that those Cyber Monday deals have been ordered, a lot of packages will be hitting doorsteps across the Portland area.

But it only takes a matter of seconds for them to fall into the hands of thieves.
“That’s my package and she walks off with it,” Bao Pham said, pointing to her home surveillance video.
Pham thinks a woman watched her package be delivered, because a few minutes later she’s caught on camera.
The video shows a woman in a coat and blue hat cross the street, walk up Pham’s driveway – past the four very obvious signs the home is under surveillance – and stands on her doorstep until a car passes. Then, she reaches down, scoops it up and walks down the street.
What she stole was a backpack Pham bought as a Christmas gift for a friend.
