When the Asian Garden Mall puts up its white tents in the parking lot, and flowers start filing in, the residents of Little Saigon know the start of the Lunar New Year is just weeks away. This year, beginning Friday, January 15 and running through February 6, the Asian Garden Mall will celebrate its eleventh year operating the Flower Festival.
The Festival brings tourists from all over the country and is a New Year shopping experience featuring fresh mai flowers, cherry blossoms, orchids, plants and trees. A stage is set for local musical entertainment and showcases, which begins daily from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

The festival is located at 9200 Bolsa Ave. in Westminster. Every day, the Flower Festival opens from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Traditional arts and crafts will also be available and food vendors will begin BBQing daily beginning at 6 p.m. The Lunar New Year falls on Monday, February 8, 2016 and this year marks the year of the Monkey.
