Digesting protein takes a long time, and mixing different proteins together will leave you feeling a bit queasy as your stomach goes into overdrive.

Those who like to enjoy Mexican cuisine are probably very familiar with this combination. However, this common pairing is almost guaranteed to lead to gas, bloating and a feeling of indigestion.

Fruit salad is popular anytime of the year, especially for those trying to lose weight. While it is OK to combine most fruits with other fruits, be wary of melons, which have their own unique digestion problems.


People who claim that melons don’t sit well with them usually feel this way because they combined melons with other fruits.
