A former Arlington police officer must serve one year and one day in federal prison for accessing police computers to tip off a person who was known to deal in illegal steroids.

Thomas Kantzos pleaded guilty last year and was sentenced in federal court in Fort Worth Wednesday. Investigators said Kantzos bought illegal anabolic steroids for himself and other officers.
