Man gets 65 1/2 years for nail salon shootings In Ellicott City

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. – A Laurel man convicted of the July 2012 shooting of his estranged girlfriend and a man at an Ellicott City nail salon was sentenced to 65 1/2 years in prison Tuesday.

Earlier this fall,  Tuan Minh Pham, 37, was found guilty of attempted murder and additional charges in the attack on Lan Hoang Mai Phan and Phuong Thanh Do at the Nail and Hair Care Spa at the Shipley’s Grant shopping center in Howard County.



Pham went to Virginia immediately after the shootings and eluded authorities for eight months before turning himself in at police headquarters in Ellicott City in March.
