Harry Bliss, cover artist for The New Yorker magazine and illustrator of several children’s books, visited Coosa Elementary School on May 15, 2014. Bliss’ presentation to the Beaufort school’s second-graders, which included an autograph-signing session and pizza party, came after student Nathan Tran won the grand prize in an illustration contest sponsored by Scholastic, a large publisher of educational books.
