SAIGON – Saigon greeted more than 3.6 million foreign tourist arrivals in Jan-Nov 2013, a year-on-year rise of 5 percent, according to the city Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Total tourism turnover of the city during the period posted over VND76 trillion, up 19 percent in comparison to the same period last year.
In November, the number of foreign tourists to the city reached an estimated 419,000, a 15 percent rise against a year previous. Of this, arrivals to the city by air were nearly 336,000, up 15 percent, while those by road and sea were 83,900, up 15 percent.
