The Project Viet Nam Foundation, a nonprofit that works to improve health care in Viet Nam, is holding a spring mixer that will merge a night of networking with a fund raiser.

The event is planned for April 20 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 17322 Murphy Ave. in Irvine, Calif.

Since 1996, the Project Viet Nam Foundation has provided health care to small villages in the country. Team members make two trips each year, one in the spring and one in the fall, and work for two weeks to treat the medical, dental and vision problems of as many children and families as possible. Additionally, they train health professionals in Viet Nam, work with Vietnamese peers to create interventions to stem common health issues and run service camps for American and Canadian students to assist in clinics and elsewhere in the country.

The attire for the mixer is semiformal. For ticket information, send an email to [email protected] or call (949) 244-7028. For those who cannot attend but would like to contribute, donations are being accepted online at http://www.pvnf.org/.
