Seven tons of relief goods arrived from Vietnam on Thursday aboard a VietJet Air plane from Saigon, according to Vietnamese daily Tuoi Tre .
A welfare team from Tuoi Tre arrived with the shipment to check on the status of Vietnamese caught in the November 8 storm.
The relief goods, worth P1.04 million, was donated by private businesses and individuals over the span of four days starting Monday.
Donations poured in despite heavy flooding in the country that displaced 80,000 Vietnamese and killed at least 28 people.
The donation came after a five-ton shipment on the same airline on Monday , and included canned food, blankets, and mosquito nets.
