Stanford amended their threshold for aid from $100,000 to $125,000. The Ivy-league school will also offer free room and board for those making less than $65,000.
This is great news considering it could cost a student roughly $65,000 a year to attend Stanford with tuition fees.
Stanford University ranked fourth in U.S. News and World Report’s national university rankings and admits only 5% of applicants.
Stanford isn’t the only elite school to offer such financial aid packages. Harvard also offers a program to students whose parents make less than $65,000 free tuition as well.
