A disagreement between an employee and his supervisor in Houston has left two people dead. The gunfire erupted about 12:50 p.m. at the Hong Kong Food Market inside Hong Kong City Mall located at 11205 Bellaire. Police say after argument with his boss, an employee fatally shot his boss them himself with a .50-caliber handgun in the market’s back area.

Houston Police now are keeping customers outside the market and attached Hong Kong City Mall. Built in 1999, the mall features two floors of businesses, most of which are owned by and cater to members of Houston’s Asian community. The Hong Kong Food Market by far is the mall’s largest retail space.
Homicide investigators said the shooting was recorded by the store security cameras. They said the video shows the employee shooting the supervisor within a minute of walking up to him as other warehouse employees worked nearby.
