Parents in Vietnam expressed outrage after surveillance video at a private kindergarten in Saigon showed the teacher mistreating and roughly handling children in her care.
The school’s surveillance camera, whose feed is sent to parents, caught the teacher picking three children and throwing them down a mattress, before violently pushing others to make space.

The teacher was also seen throwing a backpack in the face of another child, several times.
The video has sparked public outrage, with many accusing the teacher of being abusive and treating the children “like stuffed toys.”
Nguyen Thi An, owner of the school in Nha Be District, confirmed the veracity of the video, adding that it was recorded on Thursday at a class of three and four-year-old kids. An said she was only aware of the situation after being informed by parents.
She said the teacher in the video is pregnant and was under a lot of stress. The school claimed that the children were not hurt.
