Patricia Nguyen is one lucky lady after detectives in Houston were able to recover a priceless heirloom that was stolen from her months after it was taken.
Nguyen thought she had lost a 150-year-old jade pendant forever after it was stolen from her. The pendant has been in her family for generations. The pendant symbolizes luck and took on even more significance when Nguyen discovered she has cancer. After her first day of chemotherapy, she returned home to find it ransacked and the pendant along with many other items were stolen.

Nguyen posted surveillance pictures of the suspect on Facebook and Precinct 2 deputy constables hoped it would help bring in leads.
“Nobody could identify this guy, nobody could identify him.” said Sgt. Robert Sanchez with the Harris County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office.
The story soon took a strange turn. Nguyen said she had a dream of her deceased sister. She said in the dream her sister told her the pendant would be found. Just two days later, she received a call from deputies saying a Pasadena police officer not only recognized the suspect but caught him too.
Detectives recovered stolen items from multiple homes including Nguyen’s pendant. Nguyen said she is calling it a miracle.
