Three local Vietnamese arraigned for pimping prostitutes in Little Saigon

Two men and two women were charged Friday with running three brothels out of massage businesses in Midway City, Anaheim and Westminster. Three of them are of Vietnamese heritage.

The four defendants are accused pimps who had seven women working with them as prostitutes out of the massage parlors.


Ion Bivol, 27, of Huntington Beach; Hien Thi Nguyen, 26, of Huntington Beach; Ngoc Bao Nguyen, 25, of Santa Ana; and Quynh Thuy Nguyen, 30, of Santa Ana individually are charged with seven counts of pimping and pandering, all felonies.


Hien Nguyen owned and operated the massage parlors, while Bivol managed the Anaheim business. Quynh Nguyen ran the Westminster business and Ngoc Nguyen managed the Midway City business. Each of them could face up to 14 years in prison if convicted.
