Viet Nam a popular destination in 2013, U.S. travel experts say

            Viet Nam is second on the list of emerging tourist destinations for next year, a survey by the United States Tour Operators Association has found.


            USTOA revealed the result of the survey made of its active members at its annual conference. Myanmar topped the list, while India was in third place, followed by Peru and Cambodia.


            Founded in 1972, USTOA is a professional association representing some of the top names in travel and tourism and accounting for a sizable portion of the tour operators’ market in North America.


            Vietnam attracted more than 6.6 million tourists in 2012, 9.5 percent more than last year, according to the General Statistics Office.
