Police in San Jose have
arrested two city residents, charging them with not delivering on their promise
to help pay for funeral expenses. Prosecutors allege the pair collected about
$200,000 from 300 victims who thought their monthly payments would help family
members after their deaths. Most of the victims are Vietnamese American. Read
the reporting by
Eric Kurhi of the San Jose Mercury News.
