Son Doong cave being prepped for first public tours

The Son Doong Cave in Vietnam, discovered in 1991 but not explored until 2009, will be open for public tours beginning next year. Tour company Oxalis currently is conducting trial cave tours and is accepting reservations from the adventurous who want to take part in a six-day tour when they launch. The Son Doong, which is more than 5 ½ miles long, is believed to be the world’s biggest cave.
