The long road from Vietnam to the 7-Eleven

 Like so many of his generation, Vince Tran was a nameless refugee who fled Vietnam on a rickety boat and suffered through a terrifying journey on his way to freedom. Now, as the owner of a 7-Eleven store in Arlington, Va., he makes sure he gets to know each of his customers by name and learn about them.
