Tien Minh stays 5th in BWF rankings

Vietnamese athlete Nguyen Tien Minh has defended his 5th place in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings.

In the BWF rankings released on September 5, Minh got 58566.7218 points keeping him there for the fourth consecutive week.

The BWF top ten saw no change. Malaysia’s Lee Chong Wei is still world number one, followed by China’s Chen Long and Du Pengyu.

The men’s singles top ten is rounded out by Thailand’s Boonsak Ponsana, Tien Minh (Vietnam), Tommy Sugiarto (Indonesia), Kenichi Tago (Japan), Hu Yun (Hong Kong-China), Jan Jorgensen (Denmark), and Wang Zhengming (China).
