Well, that’s one way to handle it. An Oakland Park woman is facing charges after she punched a 7-year-old boy in the face because she said he made fun of her.

The boy’s mother said she witnessed the attack and that Tran hit her son while he was riding his bicycle. The mother declined emergency care for her son and said she would take him herself. Deputies said they did not see any visible bruises on his face.
Authorities say Tran gave them false names and birthdates but were able to eventually identify her. Tran says she hit the boy because he made fun of her.
