A UC Irvine student was sexually assaulted over the weekend by a fellow student while incapacitated, campus police reported Thursday.

UC Irvine Police Department officials recently received a report that a female student was sexually assaulted by a male student either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning inside a dorm room in the Mesa Court residence hall.
The female student told police she was passed out during the assault.
