Thanks to the Great Recession, young adults area moving back home in greater numbers. According to a report in USA Today, the number of young adults between 20 and 34 who moved home to live with their parents rose from 17 percent in 1980 to 24 percent in the period from 2007 to 2009. Asians had the largest jump, rising from 17 percent in the first time period to 26 percent in the latter.
