Vietnamerican art: New Randolph College exhibit celebrates the work of foreign-born artists

Going on for two years running, the Maier Museum of Art at Randolph College will use its exhibition to celebrate contemporary art being created by foreigners who call the United States home. “Contemporary Vietnamerican Art,” the museum’s 102nd annual exhibition, features the work of four artists who were born and/or raised in Vietnam but now live and work in the U.S. It runs from Sept. 5 to Dec. 9. The exhibit marks the 40th anniversary of American troops leaving Vietnam after the war.
