IRVINE, Calif. – The Great Park will host a free, family-friendly free Movie on the Lawn evening Saturday at sunset. See the state-of-the-art animation with live action feature film “Hop,” which tells the comic tale of Fred, an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny and must take him in as he recovers. As Fred struggles with the world’s worst houseguest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up.
“Hop” is rated PG and features the voices of Russell Brand, James Marsden and Elizabeth Perkins. Admission and parking are free, and visitors are encouraged to bring beach chairs and blankets. You may bring snacks or purchase treats from the onsite gourmet food trucks. Warm clothing is recommended.
The outdoor movie experience continues with Kung Fu Panda 2 on June 30. All movies begin after sunset, weather permitting, on the Terraced Lawn.
